We had our first rain in over a month this evening. My class was in the middle of an exam. First people started looking relieved and cheering for the rain. (quietly from their seats) It got pretty wild. A big bolt of lightning came down RIGHT outside our window with a very loud pop. Made everyone jump. Fortunately it didn't strike the building or anything. The storm spent most of its energy after that, but it's finally cooled things down tonight. (good especially since the A/C in my house isn't working at the moment)
no doubt....I could almost hear my lawn and plants cheering.. but most of all...I cheered cause so far this has been two days straight where I havent had to worry about paying the city to help me keep my greenery alive. I may even be able to not turn on my sprinklers for a full week,,,which wouldbe sweet as hell.
