Not what I meant at all. Though stereotypes do tend to be that upper middle class young white couples are not likely to be involved in something like that. And yeah yeah, paragraphs. Try typing that crap from your phone and see how you like it...
Let's leave race and stereotypical stuff out of this... Did anyone think that perhaps this is a LOVE AFFAIR gone wrong?!?! Still, there's no reason to beat up a woman, choke her, much less when she's prego. It's saddening you saw this, sir. I would have called the police. Certainly I would want someone to call the police were I in trouble. This is messed up, sir. Would you not want to have someone call the cops when they're beating up someone for whom you care (sister, mother, daughter, etc.)?? It IS your business. Good assumption. Actually NOT. Where's your research, man?
Ehh, I don't think it wass a love affair gone wrong. If it were, I think the woman would probably have been victimized in that case. It seems like she initiated and then the dude just snapped. Both were guilty as I saw it. Regardless, there is no reason to hit a woman. Pretty sad either way. Other people were around, and I am sure that one of them reported it. Even though there are case studies that when you're around other people, you are less likely to take action. However, as I stated earlier...neither of them seemed in trouble. They both seemed to be at fault. Which brings me to the next point Swoly... Would you have called the cops if it was just the girl beating down the guy?? Or would you only call the cops if the girl is being abused?
You didn't clarify what race these individuals were? It will help me form an opinion based upon pre-existing stereotypes I have going on in my head.
