i understand your trilemma . seriously though max, i figure you probably hate these threads but feel obligated to engage in them. if that's true i'm sorry for that. i actually was thinking that this was turning into one of the more interesting ones. for my part, i am not trying to belittle you, rhester, or any believers. you are at a disadvantage in that you are steadfast in your beliefs about Him. notice the use of a capital letter, i never do that, i'm trying to show some respect here. i have the feeling that you don't often get where i'm coming from. what i'm saying is that i don't think those who follow religion are liars or madmen, they have simply made a choice. sishir and univac have made eloquent posts about this. like religions among one another we also just have to tolerate each other.
By definition a religious person is someone who subscribes to a religion. A spiritual person would be someone who has faith but doesn't necessarily follow a particular creed. Rhester and Mad Max are religious, they're self-admitted Jesus freaks after all, but not dogmatic or shrill.
Things are getting a little too civil here, could we switch over to abortion or creation? Please no,no,no I have a very small amount of faith in a very very big God.
Call it what you will. I was not aiming to be wholly accurate with regard to definitions. Some people are soooooo anal.
