Chauncy for sure. He is by far the best TRUE point guard in the league and runs the show in Detroit.

I would take him right now. As PF/C. For part of a 4.2 million TE. IMO he still has something left in the tank.

Is anyone else surprised by how popular Rasheed is?

That's pretty much spot-on.. however, I'd take Prince over Hamilton (even though Rip is probably a better fit for our current team). Younger, more upside, smaller contract

Then why not all five? Big Ben and Prince as back-ups for Yao and T-Mac. The other three start. ****, I just started drooling. What was the point of this exercise again? :p

I will choose Prince first. Young/good defender/low salary!
he can play the 3 and TMac return to 2.

Since this is HYPOTHETICAL, who cares about salary???!!!

Rasheed for sure. The guy is EXACTLY what we need. He is perfect. Imagine this lineup:

    C Yao
    PF Sheed
    SF Battier
    SG Tracy
    PG Alston/Snyder

The shortest player is 6'6 if Snyder starts with Tracy in the backcourt. Tracy will handle the ball up the court with Snyder. On defense, it'll almost be like the dream team. That is how we'll win games, with impenetrable defense

Billups is great, but he doesn't address our PF hole. We have like 2-3 point guards. We'd rather take a sweet shooting starting PF who plays great D than a stud starting PG who will slide more players onto the bench.
