I'm thinking as punishment, Crawford should be forced to ref every game of the Spurs-Nugs series. ;)

The only Crawford calling a game last night was Danny. 24 refs worked the 8 games, no sign of Joe. Could just be a regular night off, though.

that was weird; horry was laughing just as hard and he didn't get a tech (did he?) dumbest ref call i've seen in a long time. i'd be surprised if there wasn't some punishment from the league on crawford.

I think your Spurs hate has gone a little bit too far. I don't like the Spurs either, but how can you DEFINE something is funny or not? Like the commentator said, Duncan could be laughing at anything. No matter how "obvious" Duncan's reaction is directed towards the 1st T, you cannot manipulate the game by judging the "reason" behind people's emotion.

If Crawford could eject Duncan because he laughs while sitting on the bench, Dick Bevetta could also eject Yao as he grimaces or pounds his fist after a hard foul.

He was laughing because the Mavs kept missing the shots. He was getting a good kick out of it all. And besides, Crawford said he was complaining throughout the entire game. If you remember the change of rules, if you complain, it's an automatic T. No questions about it. Crawford did him a favor by keeping him in the game. Showing no respect for what he did, he had no choice but to kick him out. I would've done the same thing, throwing out favoritism of course.

How would you like to receive a reprimand for complaining about something on your job and then the same day be suspended without pay for at least one day from your job by a compliance person who was not even your boss while you laughing and cutting up in the break room?

Crawford carried it way too far man.

Crawford may be an ass, but Timmy the Big Fundamental is definitely one of the biggest whiners in the history of basketball and he'd never got to pay his share of price even in this age of Zero Tolerance. Yao has received far greater amount of unfair officiating from the NBA refs and yet he handles these situations like a man.

Nothing to see here unless you're are Duncan fan. Move along.
