Astros re-design contest winners from Paul Lukas/uni-watch. If the new unis are anywhere close to the winning submission, I would be thrilled.

 

One of those uniforms (sans hat - the hats are wrong) is pretty darn close, actually. In fact... it's pretty much dead-on.

 

Those are sick...count me in.

 

I had a feeling it would be the shooting star layout. I love it. The hat logo could grow on me, but I was hoping for the 'H' over the star again.

 

Yeah, I don't think the Astros are having the same feeling.....

Hmmmmmm.......

Replace the cap with the H and its all good.

 

but actually looks a lot more like an Astros road uniform from 1965-1970

 

The rainbow uni is an eye catcher. Less-is-More classic stylings considered, thats still the draw. They'd be LAME to NOT incorporate it.
(And I'm prepared for them to be lame {owner Jim LAME lols...} )

All kinds of options can be "alternates". But should give more than symbolic tribute to the rainbow. I know why owners can be not on board with what the fans want, I understand they have a different vision on the bigger picture. But (well in advance before the unveiling) why so difficult on easy decisions.

I'm seeing that concept as pretty much my expections, and I'd still be more than happy if even half of that comes about.

 

I like the home and alternate jerseys, don't like the road one.

Want the closed star with the H on the cap

 

I'm OK with most of that but the cap logo is awful, especially since the star has to sit offset to the right.

 

I went through the submissions and dug these. Elements of the first one has been posed before but I don't think the whole thing has.
