While I may have been a tad hot-tempered yesterday, I still don't like anyone suggesting I was making something up. Talked to her this morning. The emails stopped when the ad was flagged. Apparently at 6:45 last evening, so she's not having anymore problems with it. We still don't have an idea of how to find out where it was originated. If anyone knows, let's hear it. Here's what was written this morning: Jenna : Jim : is is still there? Jenna : no thank you soooo much Jenna : i know it was either cody or his crazy ex from california Jim : how are you sure? Jenna : i just checked it and i got an email saying it was flagged down Jim : yeah, but how do you know who did it? Jenna : i don't but i just think its someone that has been around me before Jenna : just by what was said Jim : it is someone you know. they had your email and name. Jenna : or i think it was codys crazy ex who's in town staying with him sherri and cat both said she came in town friday and is still here Jenna : and who knows kind of what i look like Jim : 23 though? FFB....why are you posting the chat of you and your friend Jenna for everyone to see? Is it really any of our business? Not flaming you....I'm just confused, that's all. Also...did you flag the Craigslist ad as prohibited, like I suggested, or as something else?
I'm not including full names, and honestly it was just put up to get people to follow what was going on. There's nothing personal on either, so I didn't see it as an issue. Besides, it was also done as a way to silence the folks who that I was going MacBeth on them. I know she flagged it. I'm not sure how she did it, but the emails stopped, so that part is fixed. I'm still perplexed that nobody here knows how to find out where it came from.
it must have taken you a long time to type all that up on your own, it's almost believable except for a couple of parts.
That's cool. I was just wondering why, that's all. I believe the only way you can find out where it came from is by contacting Craigslist and letting them know someone has been putting up ads maliciously. As far as I can tell, all of the personal data they have on their users is encrypted and protected to keep hackers from getting into it.
