Did you know that Chris Paul used to be a New Orleans Hornet who used to be the Charlotte Hornets?

AND... Marc Gasol a Memphis Grizzlies player, who's team used to be located in Vancouver; is brother of Pau Gasol of the LA Lakers, who used to be in Minneapolis... what an enigma!

No one would forget Mark Price. People that followed basketball when or after he limped through his last year as a Warrior would simply not have heard about him.

The Price - Ehlo - Hot Rod/Wilkins - Nance - Daugherty Cavs were one of the best teams that never managed to break through. Daugherty's back killed them.

They desperately needed a more athletic swingman to deal with Jordan-Pippen, and the Bulls took them out almost every year.

San Diego was named the Rockets because Atlas Rockets were made there.

I wouldn't say Brooks was a scrub, just limited. He played 10 years and averaged 68 games a year - scrubs just don't get to play period.

Folks forget Brooks was big in the start of the 93-94 season, when the team started 22-1. Shot 49/38/87 for the year, but Cassell eclipsed him late in the season.

I'm 26 and know this. Ehlo was a bench warmer for the Rockets that went onto a decent career with the Cavs and Hawks. Of course most NBA fans know him only for MJ's game winner against him.

They had Ron Harper and Gerald Wilkins, no slouches on the defensive end but they were no match for Jordan.

Weird, how fate likes deal things. When they eventually got the super-swing man (LeBron James), they didn't have any of the other pieces -- the Price- Ehlo - Hot Rod/Wilkins -Nance - Daugherty - The "all-star version" of a young Ron Harper (who played with the Bulls in his latter days). The Cavs have never managed to put a team, like that together or been fortunate enough.

For some reason, all Cleveland teams are perpetually stuck in mediocrity or can never be good enough to win a title.

The Indians either never have a good enough rotation or a fairly ok lineup.

The Browns did not have any bonafide or dynamic playmakers, during 1980s, but really good on both sides of the ball. Kosar was a good QB, but he wasn't the same kind QB or playmaker Elway was. The knock-off version of the Browns (in reality the Browns would be the Ravens, if they never moved) are unbearable.

The Cavs, lol. They are in hibernation again, like the early 80s and late 90s.
