How about this: from D-League to playoff spot on a contending team, skipping the 99% of the regular season.

Does this say more about Troy Daniels or that our bench sucks worse than a 2-cent hooker?

At anyrate, welcome to the playoffs, Mr. Daniels! Well done.

Especially Hamilton... who has a selfish/blind tendency to miss completely open teammates...

So, so late on this ,but i am glad that they are finally coming to their senses. Their next move needs to be finding a way to get Darius Morris on the squad. If at all possible.

I dont have a problem with this. I only wish it had been done sooner.

Initiation by playoffs can severely backfire.

Did we really need to audition Omri for an entire year to see what he is capable of? The guy was a scrub on his previous two teams.

Done deal. Bill Worrell: "Tyreke has to come all the way out PAST the 3 pt line to guard Daniels. That amount of spreading the floor will be invaluable to Preparation H&H in the playoffs."

He is a great shooter no doubt but what happens when his shot leaves him? Shooting comes and goes so does he offer anything else to the table other than his offense? Can he play defense, board, or handle the ball/create plays for others? Questions for anyone who is familiar with his game.

    you are over thinking this

he's in there 2 shoot if he's off he's off its no better than Hamilton, Asspi being off as they provide very little other than shooting as well

Daniels' value is his 3. If he struggles and has nothing else to offer then he gets taken out.

He is a keeper. We all Knew he could shoot. But I am liking what I see from other aspects of his game. He seems to be an adequate defender. Not a lock down defender by any means. But he's able to stay in front of his man for the most part. For a great 3pt specialist, that's all you can ask for.

And he's not a selfish chucker either. 5 assists tonight I believe leads the whole team. At the end of the 3rd quarter he could have taken that 3, but he chose to pass it to a more open DMO who nailed the buzzer beater. That was a good play.

All in all a nice pickup. I think the 12th spot is his now.

I was just getting flashbacks of Luther Head during our playoff series with the Jazz...dude was scorching hot with the 3pters in reg season but when playoffs came he hit nada and also provided nothing. But of course I don't expect Daniels to have the same role Luther did so it's not a big deal I suppose.

Shot makers will always have a spot on NBA rosters...Better late than never, Daniels would be a tremendous weapon off the bench...

Lin does give the ball to everyother player on his team or not... To be postive ,let say he is not selfish:)

Daniel can help the beard , D12 and Bev i hope he see true playing time ..

It is not only he can shoot well. He is playing off the ball.

    Beverley/Lin
    Harden/Daniels
    Parsons/Garcia
    Jones/Motiejunas
    Howard/Asik

Is the rotation i see, garcia, daniels and motiejunas will see sparse mins.

If Daniels makes the rotation for the playoffs...what this means is we are going to see a lot of Harden at the 4 and more limited minutes for Jones. McHale and Morey know Jones is the weak link. They're exploring all sorts of ways of limiting his minutes in favor of putting true shooters on the floor or putting Asik in with Dwight to choke out teams running double big lineups at us.

And to think this might be the biggest game of his NBA career that is going to decide whether he can earn a playoff rotation spot on a contending team, and he delivered. That just tells me this guy doesn't falter under pressure and can rise to the challenge. We will need that in the playoffs.
