Don't bother arguing with Deb4rockets, he's set in his ways on his hatred of harden for shooting teh ball too much, even though he's fking shooting way more efficiently than anyone else. Iso ball just irks the man, and he choose to lash out by attacking harden.

From history guards like CP3 who play smart and make right decision last much longer in their career.

He's been awful most of the year, but the last couple games he's looked like about 90% of what he was last year. If he can muster that up for the playoffs, that would really help us.

So many guys on CF think they're smart by saying "X sucks! Just wait for a sucky game, then I'll remind you how smart I am!"
Yeah, dude, the jury is still out on whether CP can play basketball or not. Wait a couple more games :D

He has not been awful at all. You people clearly don’t know what makes him elite. At its worst his scoring efficiency was LEAGUE AVERAGE and his playmaking was still in the 90 some odd percentile. His defense looked good for months before this too.

And anyway he clearly hasn’t gone all out in the RS since he’s been here.

He looked awful compared to last year. It's been well publicized, not just some guy on a forum saying it. No one has looked good on defense all year for us.

You know that the “facts” you are trying to layout are easily refutable if you took the time to look up the stats.

Our shooting was way down during a giant chunk of the season. Not refutable. Facts. It definitely dinged Hardens assist numbers.

Remember last season? Harden and Paul were the best isolation scorers in the league. Either one of them running iso was a better offense than the warriors. We did it a lot. This magic world where CP3 isn’t also an isolation player is in your head. He’s obviously a more pass heavy player but he had the ball in his hands 12 minutes the other night. That’s significantly more than Harden ever does. If you think CP isn’t going to up his isolation play now that he’s getting healthy you are nuts. You saw him isolate boogie and eat his lunch the other night? Beautiful

Also this magical world where Harden isn’t feeding up guys tons of shots is also in your head. You are taking a sub section of one injury riddled season and talking about it like this is what Harden has been doing for all 7 years now and that there’s no denying he will continue.

He’s said, coach said it, Morey said, Kobe said it, **** everyone ****ing said it. He did what he had to do for a stretch of games because of injury and what we were left with. There is zero evidence that the way he played will continue.

No volume scorer in the league takes so few shots and passes as much as him and somehow you have forgotten it. Truly weird.

That being said I came to this thread to post this stat on CP, but your none sense posts like this have been flooding the garm lately and need to be addressed.

He(Paul) has averaged 18.6 points and 9.9 assists in the past seven games, with a net rating of plus-11.8 points per 100 possession in that span.

If the rockets can average 25 to 27 assists a game playing their offense we will obliterate any team in the league. 21 assist avg at present just won't get it done in a 7 game series. we had 43 3 pt attempts the last game but its how we got those attempts that's the most important factor. If we make people work the way we did here we will beat them

Rant on. We will never agree. Harden takes more shots than anyone in the league. You might love the ISO but I don't. Oh, and I don't give a *** what Kobe says. He's a lying pig.

    lol this is ridiculous.

A harden iso produces more points per possession for the Rockets than the most prolific offenses in NBA history and you’d rather not do it.

    Rockets fan or nah?

Yet another fan who has the audacity to claim that if you don't love seeing one guy ISO over and over and over you aren't a Rockets fan. You make me laugh.

And that’s where you are wrong.

What I like to see is the best possible outcome. Most points per possession. The thing every team strives for offensively.

    You do not.

Last season must have been torture for you. Harden had more isolations than any TEAM had. How did that work out for us?

1 seed. Best offense in team history. Battles the best team ever to the brink. Only team to remotely have a chance against them since Durant arrived.

Harden does not take more shots than anyone in the league.

If you can't even get that fact right you really need to shut up about the matter.

Last 7 have looked very promising.

He has averaged 18.6 points and 9.9 assists in the past seven games, with a net rating of plus-11.8 points per 100 possession in that span.
