As an NBA player, he's washed. If he wants to come take an assistant coach gig, sure? I'd imagine there are other organizations he'd prefer though if that's the path he's going to take, given his history here.
If it was Morey in charge I am sure it won’t happen. But Stone seems like a guy who would pull the trigger on a deal like this.
He wouldn't play here either. Ime likes KD and Sengun running the offense (if you can call a bunch of isos and offense rebounds an "offense"). Prime CP3 would've been good enough to take the keys, but if current CP3 can't outplay Reed then there's no way Ime would play him.
CP3 makes no sense for the Rockets. He's washed up. Sure, he's a great leader, but we already have that in Fred who's a good bench and locker room presence while not suiting up for the team. I don't mind bringing in another PG at some point, but Chris Paul ain't the answer.
I'm not really worried about that. By the time Reed will theoretically hit that wall, the Rockets should have Tari and DFS back. At that point, our depth will minimize the need for him to be playing 30+ minutes.
Reed named CP3 as a player he developed his game around...I'm sure 10 to 15 minutes of CP3 could work out for the Rockets. He production has dropped off from last year, but that could be a team environment/culture issue. He is a tremendous competitor and would be a great leader for the young guys.
