The whole thing was broken. Paul was tired of playing the Harden offense (remember the blow up at the end of the season?) and it was pretty clearly screwing up his own game and not maximizing any of his strengths. Harden wanted to team up with his buddy in Westbrook. Tillman was tired of it all. The blame doesn't lie with any one person. They all wanted to blow it up. Just like this season when Westbrook & Harden wanted out, and Tillman wanted to change coaches also.
The blame lies on one person for the most part and that's Tilman easily. This franchise has been downhill ever since he took over as owner. I'm not going to get into this same discussion I've had for over a year and change now
No. The blame equally lies on everyone. Tilman is to blame for rushing the deal through. Harden is to blame for rushing the deal through, wanting Westbrook in the first place, and having a toxic relationship with CP3. MDA is to blame for not incorporating more ball movement to help CP3 overcome his liability of no longer being able to attack guys off the dribble in ISO. CP3 is to blame for not taking it serious when it came to nutrition and taking care of his body. As far as Daryl’s involvement, we’ll probably never know. But at the end of the day, his name is on that dotted line.
Can you imagine the lineup we could have had this year if we managed our assets correctly. Paul Harden Covington Wood Capela Holy ****
Tilman would ask wood if he can play for minimum for LTS. And then still sit on mle money like he’s always done
Lets see him get out of the 2nd round. How can you be the point Gawd when you have never led a team to a conference finals and have lost series up 3-1 and 3-2?
You can be the point gawd when you have the GOAT team on the ropes and only lose to bad officiating and **** luck.
Fixed it for you. Harden can't get out of his own way. Harden's cancerous personality is what ruined his window.
No help? Harden never had a guy an all nba guy playing with him like Blake as well as a DJ or Reddick. Troll better.
I mean he helped lead the Rockets to a 3-2 lead against arguably the GOAT team before his injury. If it wasn't for that hammy injury we'd be champs, CP3 and Harden would have retired Rockets.
No, it was not only him. It was him, when paired with another superstar and some decent role players, producing a 65 win, 9 SRS juggernaut, in his first year here. He was, and still is an awesome player. We never should have traded him, and that trade was the lynch pin which completely derailed our franchise. You get so few chances in this league, and our dumbass owner flushed it down the toilet.
