Miami would have to have something left to trade. The DLeague scrubbs they sign wont add up in salary, even if they trade all 8 of them.
Chris Paul has two years left on his contract before he gets to his player option. There is no way that guy makes it to that team before 2012 unless the Hornets decide to give him to Miami for free next year in exchange for Miller and whoever they sign with the MLE next yr plus fillers. If he goes there I think I will somehow lose even more faith in NBA players really wanting to compete than I already have after seeing the "chosen 1" go hope on the Heat bandgwagon.
