Iggy wasn’t having a strong series before the injury. In fact they initially got a a lil spark when he went down and Looney took his minutes. I’m not worried about Iggy.
What scares me there is that Iggy can hold down Harden. Klay and Durant can't. Iggy and Green gives them two guys to erase the Harden/Capela connection. But whatever - the Finals aren't won by the meek
I, myself, have torn ligaments in my leg and I’m very familiar as well. We’re clearly interpreting this very differently. My view was he took about 3-4 steps backward and forward while maintaining a steady dribble and trying to converse. He didn’t look hesitant, apprehensive or overly ginger to his leg. You can only really see half of him anyways. I’m just saying don’t read too negatively into a 5 second clip.
I think we will see an inspired LUC. Hes been beating himself up because he's almost useless on offense but the last two games we won because of defense and not even reaching the 100 mark. He might realized bum shoulder or not his defense is still elite and is key to winning the game.
Jesus christ it annoys me that most of you are all talking about game 7. There's still game 6 and it's winnable. or do you wanna just send GSW a letter forfeiting the game and just proceed with game 7 at home? Game 4 and 5 had almost the same outcome scoring wise. infact i would say we played better at oracle because we weathered that third quarter with CUrry making impossible shot. We can win there.
CP3 needs some of the wolverine's blood or John "the pasty gangster" Stockton's. Stockton played a total of 1504 games 19 years in the NBA, he played a full 82 games in 16 seasons. He could have played 32 more games if it wasn't for that 98-99 shortened season. No one hated that pasty gangster more than I when he was destroying us, I have to give him props though. He was the toughest SOB that ever played in the NBA at that position.
Really just hoping the Rockets come out firing on all cylinders and put it away in game 6. This would take away the pressure to start CP in game 7, and could potentially elect to rest him for the first 2 games of the finals - he wouldnt play until game 3 (June 6) which would give nearly 2 weeks to recover/rehab.
I won't lie....I'm freaking out over this. Harden was so awful last night. I stopped counting his unforced dribbling gaffs when he reached 4. It was shades of Carmello: when the ball was in his hands the rest of the team just stopped moving/cutting. Why bother? James is gonna shoot or turn it over. This love affair he has with the cute 4 steps stepback stopped working weeks ago. I would be curious as to what his efficiency rating was last night. It had to be ungodly low. Giving him credit for playing defense like the rest of the team can't take him off the hook for his momentum killing, ball hogging, 20 dribble possession tendency. We are IN A LOTTA TROUBLE!
is it possible that D'Antoni is just making the Warriors believe that CP3 is out and then at tip off CP3 actually starts so we **** up their plans? are we allowed to do that? lol
Why did the rockets release the info already? They should’ve listed him as gametime so the warriors couldn’t fully plan for it
It doesn't matter who can hold Harden, he refused last night to attack Curry due to no calls and a hacking donkey
