The hornets gm just stepped down so he is vulnerable. I wouldn't mind SnT scola for him and Okafor after we include picks and some of our other players as well. Here's the article http://hoopsground.com/headlines/bower-steps-down-as-hornets-gm-ap/
owner ain't ready to let him go yet, they just got under the luxury tax so it's no longer necessary see http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=189824
Sorry to slightly derail but Pritchard says he may have interest in the GM job there. samickFanHouse League source says former Port. GM Kevin Pritchard would have interest in rejoining w/ N. Orleans coach/former Blazers asst. Monty Williams
I don't know the Hornets owner that well but he probably just wants a very marketable guy in return. So basically every man has his price
The Hornets have to be spooked after hearing Paul say he wants to create a big 3 in NYC. He might not end up in NYC, but it certainly looks like he's leaving NO after his contract is done. It's only a matter of time before they trade him, they don't want to end up like Cleveland.
yeah i read that he mentioned something about making a big 3 in new york with carmelo and amare, so this came to my mind, if we trade scola and ab for cp3 and resign yao to a cheaper contract we might be able to lure carmelo anthony in to coming in a sign and trade to houston (allowing us to ship out martin and another player) to form a big 3 .
