Why do people take thread starting so serious? If its been posted before or if it could of gone in another thread who cares? Big deal!
I would be fine if they just brought in replacement players. Hopefully DaDakota could start at the point for the Rockets. His lateral quickness is pretty awful but he has a lot of heart. Not sure who would back him up. Maybe Spanoulis or we could go and sign Maloney for 4 years and 85 million.
a premaddona with questionable health issues demands a trade... hrrmmmm....sounds familiar. hopefully we have learned a thing or two from the past.
None of us know if Aaron Brooks will be back next season or not..last I checked..he is a FREE agent next summer! You always try to upgrade talent with no regard for personal emotions..Paul is a top 5 PG. He als improves our defense greatly..last I checked, this means alot.
You know what, i would have to agree. The 1st thing someone wants to do when they get on here is to create their own thread. Theres nothing wrong with that. Some of you guys rthat have been on here long enough shoul;d be used to it by now. I am.
Um..the last time Paul missed extensive amount of game time (i.e. Yao Ming levels) was just last season. Other than that, he's been pretty durable throughout his career.

Seriously man. I'm shocked at the poll results. Thought we, as rockets fans had better sense. People are delusional for thinking we should be on board with bringing in Paul for two years. I am hoping there intentions were with the expectations that he would sign an extension.
the knee speculation on Paul has become so widely circulated that it becomes a deal breaker for me. as a Rockets fan, I am sure you understand my hypersensitivity regarding degenerative health issues. and let me be quite clear here. if the issue of paul missing last season didn't involve the terms "bone on bone" or "no cartlidge" I would be all over this deal.
I'm with you on the "I don't want an oft injured player" boat. I really am. But Even if Paul comes back next season at 85% of what he was two years ago, that's still an elite player. He's just that good.
We are already at an all in position, and with Brooks about to hit free agency, it would be the best idea to make the move if we can.
