Blah, blah, blah we know he is on the trading block and wants to end up in NY.

But is he worth it as a two year rental?

    Most likely we lose Brooks.

    What are your thought?

my thought is that you easily could've posted your original post in one of the other CP3 threads. this thread is unnecessary.

Really don't need Paul. We would hav to give up too much for him. Not worth it IMO.

What else are we losing, other than Brooks?

If we know he's gone, then I'd be very hesitant to do it if we're to give up a lot of assets. But if there's a chance he'll stay, that right there is a franchise changer. Its high risk, high reward -- but I'd do it.

    This thread is so pointless.
How can vote yes or no without knowing the price we pay?

    Hell yes

Sell High on AB, coming off the MIP season
Buy Low on CP3, coming off an injury

No....especially when the 2nd year will be washed out by a lock out.

How would that work if the lockout shortens the season instead of eliminates it? And is the lockout really inevitable?

Up in the air, who knows how long the lockout lasts......in the last one they squeezed in a 50 game season.....this one, they may do that, or go the NHL way and wash it all out.

And he doesn't WANT TO COME HERE !!!!!

Screw all those players that don't want to come to Houston, if we are going to trade our star players, I want a guy who is foaming at the mouth about bringing a championship to Houston....

    Not a 2 year rental....**** THAT !

No way they cancel the season. NBA players are notorious money spenders. They'd fold before then.

I dread the thought of AB and KM killing us 4 times a year.

Don't worry KM won't be part of the deal, trust me. Plys, they will be moving that team for sure. New Orleans can't support an NBA team anymore.

    What DEAL?

What do you know about a DEAL?

I mean that is a joke, there is no DEAL, and if there was you would have NO IDEA who was in on the DEAL.

    Trust me....WTF ever.

    LOL.

Ariza has the ability to shutdown Brooks. He's done it when he was with the Lakers.

NOLA won't want long contracts. They are in the process of selling the team. If they trade Paul they lose the fan base and will move the franchise. They will trade for expirings, young cheap talent and picks...BOOK IT.

    oh, and...
