Ok, he made a bad throw. Carter's on ESPN News and said he missed the throw. Of course he said it like a leader type though."I should have made it." talk. Says when it all comes down to it, his throw cost them the game. Man, that's all he really said though.
Carter has shown major improvement since the first week. The first week he was barely able to throw a spiral. Since then his spiral has been getting tighter and tighter. I think he will be a pretty decent to a pretty good quarterback one day. Campo however, is the ANTI-CHRIST!
Euuuuuuuuuuuuuu.....the dude threw up on the field. These announcers sound like a bunch of Ahmad Rashad at a all you can suck Kobe and Jordan buffet. McNabb is this, Mcnabb is that, blah blah McNabb, blah McNabb, McNabb blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah blah MaNabb blah blah. The guy was like 24-42. He is not THAT good!
Yes, he is that good. Best Qb in the league this year imo, esp with what he has surrounding him. I can only wish the Cowboys had someone of his calibur at Qb. Cowboys need a force on offense. QC sucks, Emmitt is milking it for the record, and the recievers are average. Maybe they can get a good qb in the draft this year, but Jerry's track record doesn't impress me. Probly just draft some bum DL and pick up Major Applewhite from coaching middle school to supplant QC. Mebbe I'm pessimistic, but this offense has pissed me off for like the last 5 years.
Geez you cowboy homers are ignorant . Donovan McNabb has been a starting QB in the NFL for 3 seasons, Vick hasn't even started a full season yet. Donovan McNabb is the best QB in the NFC hands down, Just because Quincy can't throw straight doesn't mean you have to rag on a real QB who can actually win games.
Hmm... let's look at some rankings for QC: He's 26th in the NFL in QB Rating, but he's ahead of Warner, Culpepper and Carr(hehe ) to name a few. He's also close to McNair(1pt.) and Garcia. (4pts.) In INTs, he's tied for 7th with only 3. He's with Gannon, McNabb, Garcia and Farve. He's got less INT's than Manning, Brady, Culpepper, McNair, Warner and Carr. (hehe... ) In yds, he's 14th. He's ahead of Manning, Warner, Garcia, Brunell, and Carr. (sorry...hehe.) Now this is where the problem is: in TD's, he only has 3, tied for 20th. (with Carr.) Just wanted to use some stats for showing that Carter isn't THAT bad. Besides, he's using "average receivers" as well.
As much as I hate the Cowboys, even I would take Carter over the likes of the Cincy trio of Smith, Frerotte, and Kitna.
Thank you...I guess. There are also some QB's that have MUCH worse stats, if I remember correctly. Culpepper did pretty well one year, but now he sucks. And he has probably the best WR ever on his team. All I'm trying to say is Carter has improved and is not THAT bad. Is he great? Heck no. I am bias just calling him good. However, if you watch tapes from last year to...say yesterday, you will see a MUCH improved player. Last year, all he could do was scramble. His scrambling was pretty good, but that didn't really help much. This year, except for the Texan's game, Carter has been getting the ball to the receivers very well. They aren't all right on the chest, but he's learning. I think he missed a good part of the season last year, so he's not a "veteran" yet. Oh boy, I went a bit far.
I don't know if this was directed to all fans, or just one or a few, but I think McNabb IS REAL GOOD! He really got me PO'ed when the Cowboys played him, and there was nothing they could do to stop him. I think he could very well be one of the best QB's in the league at some point. JMO.
