The problem with that...if a variant emerges...and it makes vaccines less effective or non-effective, it won't care whether you got the shots or not. How about trying to prevent mutations

I don't think your thinking, (which I share), will fly with today's common mindset.
Let's just be glad we got rid of smallpox and polio before 21st century America. LOL.

We can't worry about every single thing. Vaccines not working on mutations aren't the fault of anti-vaxxers.

We are far from pointing fingers at them until everyone on the planet has access to the same vaccines.

It's more like a safety belt than a magic bullet.

The more exposed to unvaccinated people, the more chance it has to mutate (and combine with some other infection) to cause a super bug. To damn easy to get vaccinated.

Yeah, and that's called the rest of the world.

If there is a mutation, it'll happen outside anyone's control.

Much more productive things to worry about or goad other people into doing...

Sorry if my joking around doesn’t come off well lol

There is no indication that the virus will turn into something much worse than what it has already shown itself to be. Why are you worried about something that you can’t control and creating scenarios that are not happening?

The Indian variant will become the dominant strain within a few months in all likelihood and we will have another surge in the younger unvaccinated population. The Indian variant has dramatically outcompeted all other variants. The vaccine makers are indicating that the vaccines should work well against the Indian variant, but obviously we still need more real world data.

We aren’t going to get to 100% vaccination and the virus can still spread after vaccination. We can’t control evolution either.

Then wear a mask and worry about what you can control. If you want to wear a mask or don't, its cool with me. If you want to get vaccinated or not, its also cool with me. I have been living life pretty normally since October, take precautions when needed, been vaccinated but never gave a care about what anyone else did.

Its been packed at the bars for awhile lol We saw the Rockets first game of the season at Drift in the heights and it was packed, all you had to do was wear a mask when entering but after that you were free.
