so what does that bode for Jordan Hill when the likes of Earl Clark, Gani Lawal, Omar Samhan and Jeff Pendergraph all torched him?

Summer League isnt the great indicator of course but its is NEVER a bad sign when a rookie plays well in summer league the competition isnt the best but its not piss poor either. Other rookies, young NBA players and some overseas/undrafted prospects. Its probably better than NCAA actually in terms of talent

True, let's see how he competes against real competition. But I think most people are impressed not just by the numbers, but the variety of skills he showed during Summer League (ie. passing, ballhandling, post play, rebounding, etc.).

Von Wafer scored 42 points in a summer league game.

    Just saying.

I did like him in a specific role, which we had a need for....as a cheap scoring wing....

Once we no longer needed it, he was off the radar.

It is all about fit on the current roster and whether they help win games for me.

He looked like he was in shape on draft night. Cousins is a beast.

I wish people would watch more college basketball (not just in March) before making silly assertions like Oliver Miller 2.0..

C'mon guys, it's summer league. Look at Adam Morrison's games last year.

Still, I think Cousins will be dominant in the NBA. His game at Kentucky easily translates to the league. Morey ain't no fool and neither is Petrie. Those guys can draft and wanted him badly for a reason.

RAPIST BALLHOG?? first off was a ball-hog, just cause he raped a girl don't mean he can't play ball, he was the reason they won most of their games....jst game 7 it wasn't him...but w/o him they would not win...and now he can pass the ball.

I see Cousins developing into an impact player, but he first will be a solid role player! We'll all have to wait and see!

During SL Wafer never had good numbers in two categories ie double doubles IIRC.

Right, 42 points is just not very good unless he got some rebounds or assists.....

Agreed. I had no idea that he had that kind of passing ability. Very impressive.

The kid shows a very prescient court awareness for a young big.

If folks can not see that from these clips, summer league, NBA, or Fonde, then they are so deluded with their own opinion that they have divorced themselves from reality.
