They would have to offer all their BKN picks because Cousins is in team control for 3 years in contrast with Love who was expiring and plays center ,while Love who plays in the second deepest position in the league. If Sac went in the market right now and even inquired about trading Cousins with 3 more years under contract, half the league would try to empty their treasure chests. Even if Cousins is unhappy or whatever he doesn't have any leverage to demand any kind of trade at this point and the team who gets him will have time to build around him for 3 years and make him happy enough to resign him. Ainge is just waiting for this opportunity but it doesn't come often.
I've agreed with 100% of what you've said in this thread, but Morey has traded for more and for even less. It's only been once, but he did it. Morey is magical. His resume trumps David Copperfield's.

Great rebounder, very good defender, solid passer, nice post game, but he is just a train wreck offensively with his shooting. He should never shoot anything outside of 5 feet. Plus he gets way too emotional sometimes and it hurts his team. He could be an upgrade over Dwight if he completely revamped his offensive game, but that's a lot to ask. He's certainly a hell of a lot more durable than Howard. He is on a solid contract too for a player of his caliber. I don't see him working in Houston unless we are trading Howard for Cousins. He such a talented player, but I just don't ever see him being on a winner.
Cousins is not worth it. Injured way too often. Go look up his injury history over his entire career. It's horrible.
Every news outlet have reported problems Cousins have with Karl. Capella have the 13/12 game vs Sacramento and arguably if he get PT, can definitely do comparable numbers. He also have the prototype small ball agility center type everybody is looking for. Lastly, stranger things have happen. If by your argument no GM would trade a young franchise player, why is Harden here?
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/report-sacramento-kings-gm-asking-213224103.html Either Cousins go or Karl goes and it will be soon. I think management will clean house and let Karl run the thing.
Boogie to H-Town? With all the drama going on in Sacramento with George Karl and Cousins would you guys be willing to give up some of our key depth guys and draft picks for Boogie? We'd also be bowing out of the Durant sweepstakes this summer.
We would have to send Brewer and/ or Bev to make it work. 99% sure Sacto will get a beter offer that doesn't include a long term contract like they have.
Boogie is definitely possible. We are getting out rebounded left and right. This would solve alot of our problems. I think Capella, Brewer, and whatever else plus a draft pick might be possible.
Boogie for a top 55 protected pick. Salary shouldn't be a problem cuz Les said he would pay for a winner. Get it done D'rell.
Rockets and Sacramento both teams think alike. Lets just a bunch of big names and WE tell the coach how to coach. Before you call them a drama team look at the ROCKETS
