I've never said he was better once... you took it that way obviously. I was asking people whether or not they'd take Lowry over Kobe because Kobe is a prick.
on a side note, most Californians I've met are usually over-friendly and pseudo-cocky, quite annoying, almost as annoying as people who think California is cool. Im not surprised Ariza fits my stereotype of them.
I think it was a heat of the moment thing. When I earlier said T-mac would do something like this, it is because T-mac did on numerous occasions get heated, make a play, and then stare down a hater. This isn't a bad quality imo. I think it's great to see him get into the game and be able to lay a three down with that mindset. That's clutch stuff and that's why he's a playoff performer. I hope so at least.
Not really surprising. Ariza seems like a player who does better when his ego is being challenged. In that sense LA was a good fit for him as Phil Jackson is known for using little mind games to goad players to step up.
true story : ariza has been seen in town hangin with arabs. he never smiles and scares little kids at galleria and front row.shouts at fans, punches derozan, next will be "play me or trade me" demands ala tmac. tmac v2.0 he shows flashes of a good player then disappears or chunks. when you have tmac/battier/draft budinger/draft taylor/FA available wafer why on earth do you sign Ariza?
not thats there anything wrong with hangin with arabs, but i thought it might tie in with the side burns? then again maybe he just reads the koran and is a Lewis Farrakhan supporter ?
Your character is not funny. It was only funny the first time with oden but now it's getting really annoying to read.
Sorry but I have to agree with Trevor on this. Don't start none won't be none as they say. Also, if you are that bothered about kids hearing that language don't bring kids with you to the front rows because I'm sure there were worst things said then that.
If I was Ariza....i would make an effort not to cuss...that's just me though, i try to hold back around people that may find it offensive...however, sometimes it still slips. You're assuming he saw the girl and that he still didnt care. We dont know if he did or when he did. I would hope athletes could at least try to hold it in when possible or at least keep it ot themselves....but you do have to put some blame and responsiblity on the parents. Some players cuss. Some coaches cuss. Some fans cuss. The chances of someone cussing in an arena with thousands of people, some emotional and some drinking, are pretty high. It's your job as a parent to influence how your child takes it. Either warn her before or talk to them after.
I should start posting: "In before the T-mac reference" from now on in every thread not related to T-mac.
