I think there NBA allows Rockets opportunities to get more informed before making this decision through such league-sanctioned events as "training camp," "preseason," "practice" and "regular season games."
Always talk up your assets unless you are negotiating for a contract. Hey Carl, how is that knee holding up? DD
STFU monkey. Its a simple comparison. I understand they have different qualities, but I think that Lee takes Taylor's role. I like Taylor's game. I think his defence is underrated, and you know he can score. He may lack a pass first mentality, but don't we need a shoot first, shoot second, pass third guy on this team?
Lee has been a 30 mpg starter in the league, even if it was on a crummy squad. Taylor hasn't proven he can be counted on as a 10th man yet. It's not even a real debate, and that's before considering Taylor is barely combo-guard sized. I also think this effectively ends Taylor's tenure on the team.
Taylor will be in and out of the D league again this year depending on injuries, and the Rockets are definitely not worse for it. It's not even close at this point, Lee is a legitimate NBA player, Taylor hasn't proven that yet.
Taylor is a Von Wafer with a better attitude, marginal NBA material. Lee was a significant contributor as a rookie on an NBA Finals team.
Lee is much better than Taylor, and comparable to Ariza. Great perimeter defender, and a "knock down" shooter...
everybody is sayin JT wont get any playin time but battier is not gettin any younger and he will get his chance when battier or kmart gets injuried
If that is really the case then I really like the trade. I didn't think Ariza fit as well as Artest did. Looking forward to training camp.
Lee is a better fit for an outside SG to complement Yao. The depth is great though. JT provides a great change of pace for opposing defenses like Brooks (deadly shooter) and Lowry (Pushes the ball, slasher and better defense) Plus, everyone was complaining that our back court was poor defensively and this upgraded it. We have a solid SF defender in Battier and young SF with talent developing in Bud.
hehe, I remeber that. I felt like Orlando had a chance in that series. if only Lee didn't miss impossible..
I haven't seen a lot of either player but aren't they more like opposites? Lee with the sweet-but-funky stroke and JT more of a take-it-to-the-hole player with a "good enough" jumper...
