He reminds me more of Aaron Brooks, that's not really a bad thing. It's sure as heck better than Flynn. I would let him play out his 10 day contract and see how things go.
He's got more upside than Will Conroy. Conroy turns 30 at the end of the year. McHale made a bad coaching move bringing Fortson in against Chris Paul the previous game. Made him look worse than he should have
He will play better each game that he is in. Remember, he is only on for ten days so he's got 4 games left to prove.
I must have been watching a different game because I was not impressed at all. He seemed to play very out of control. I guess that comes with the territory in terms of limited NBA experience, but damn, Anthony Carter could have finished that layup. Fortson is the cheaper method, but he isn't going to help us make the postseason, which is what most of us want from the Rox.
I thought he was terrible. Admittedly, I switched to NCAA occasionally, so i thought to myself, check the boxscore. And pretty much saw all of his five-ish minutes. Not good. Not good at all.
