btw...It totally eludes me how that many people are stupid enough to allow strangers access to their hard drives..Doesn't Napster require that you allow file-sharing to your HD? That is freaking unbelievably stupid! It depends on what's on your hard drive. For example, my roommate has a CPU just for MP3's. ------------------
You mean he has a processor just for playing mp3s?? It doesn't matter what's on their hard drives...someone with sufficient skills could conceivably breakthrough whatever security measures that Napster has in place and delete your system files..plant worms,trojans or other virii on your drive.. or even make your computer send DoS attacks like what happened last year...It is an important issue(IMO) and one that has never been adequatley adressed..but it's no skin of my back..since I don't use Napster and absolutely refuse to allow my tennager to use it... ------------------ "Excuse me while I whip this out!"
