hey Bailey...remember how we were discussing things on BBC I would like to see? what about this? think we could swing a torrent out of it so I can see what the hubbub is about?
Sure, I just hope it isn't past its best... I'll cap it tonight anyway (Digital TV through an aerial in the UK is raw MPEG-2 anyway), but I have the first three series on DVD already. Maybe I could DivX a few of those of you?
Hmm, but this is a show right, would clutch get in trouble if we start putting torrents of shows that's airing right now on the site?
I wasnt talking bout here....you know where. If nothing else. Ill set you up to upload to my ftp...one way or the other. as far as which one to check out...how bout whatever one you feel is the one to get a good idea of how good it is since you have all of them anyway.
But that's the problem... I'm a big fan of the show, so I think all the episodes are good. I'll do one of the split-screen or time-shifted ones. They're quite creative, and pretty funny too.
Well, the show started off poorly, but it turned out to be a pretty decent episode in the end. Jeff wasn't really missed in this one, but I'm not sure how it'll pan out over the whole series...
The answer is "maybe". There was another male character, but it wasn't clear whether he'd be in it for more than one episode (his character was a little bit like Jeff, actually).
Why did Jeff leave? I haven't seen an episode in a while. Also, what happened to torrent? Seems like everything shut down.
It was an ok episode. The biggest problem(aside from it not being as funny as Seasons 1 & 2) was that the guy playing Oliver sounded like he was trying to channel Richard Coyle. He didn't have the Welsh accent, but he did have similar speech patterns and his personality seemed awfully similar to Jeff's. If you're gonna replace a character, come up with something new, not a clone.
Episode 2 Update: Another good one! My favourite line: Steve: "Jane, you have got to stop just walking in through our front door. This is not, I repeat not, an American sitcom!" The Oliver character is definitely a Jeff replacement. There are some similarities, but he has some possibilities.
