I've been to AK, AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, IL, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MS, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OR, PA, RI, TX, WA http://m.maploco.com/visited-states/ I think there is a bit of a theme that I like coasts, beaches and big cities. Haven't really been to most of the more rural states and probably don't have a real reason to go. Weather-wise my favorite would probably be San Diego/LA and of course Hawaii, although I prefer the Caribbean beaches and water. I like going to Miami from time to time (it's not so far from London). Also like to go to New York ever so often. I dislike the immigration process, but have been too lazy to sign up for Global Entry. I also actually don't really like downtown San Francisco and I find Palo Alto/Menlo Park boring, although I go there often. I have been to Vegas often, usually look forward to going and afterwards hate myself for having gone there and swear I will never come back. What I haven't really done yet is visiting national parks (other than the Everglades) like Yellowstone and Yosemite. Eventually, I want to do that once I run out of other destinations in the world that are higher on my list (which might never happen). Yes, New Zealand is certainly high on my list. We will eventually combine New Zealand with a trip to the South Pacific (Bora Bora, Cook Island, possibly Fiji, etc.). Other places which are high on my list are, e.g., Central America (Costa Rica, Panama), Antarctica, Iceland, Ireland, Cambodia (Angkor Wat), Bermuda and all the places in the Caribbean I have not been to. Also, Tibet and Nepal. Also want to see Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia and visit Paraguay. I'll probably skip the Guayanas, although also going there would "complete" South America... What this map doesn't really tell you is which ones are the most special places one has visited...in my case, Galapagos, Easter Island, Machu Picchu, Fernando de Noronha, Capri and actually Tulum in Mexico would be very high on that list - as well as a tiny island called Johnny Cay. In terms of cities that are more "exotic" from where I am from - Buenos Aires and Rio are probably among my favorites. In Europe: Barcelona and Rome. Although I would be interested in seeing more of Africa for the nature experience, I am scared off by wars, unrest, high crime rates and diseases. Same goes for places like Pakistan and Afghanistan and, to a lesser extent, Honduras and Haiti. I am not that eager to go to India because of poverty and poor sanitation, although I would be interested in seeing Taj Mahal and Goa. Anyway - still lots and lots of places to discover .

Yeah, took a boat from Ushuaia. I actually enjoyed hanging out there, Fin del Mundo, Tierra del Fuego and all that, more than I did the "adventure". Glad I did it, it's expensive as hell though. If you're in Argentina and have the time, there's a ton of other places I'd go to before I did that: Iguazu, Mendoza, Cordoba, Bariloche, Salta, etc....

I've always preferred exploring my country to international travel. And road trips to planes. I've been to every state EXCEPT for Alaska, Hawaii, and North Dakota. But no countries outside the U.S. except for Canada, very briefly. Also the U.S. territory of the Virgin Islands.
