It's Sep 1 where I am, or D-35 before our first preseason game on Oct 5 or D-65 before the start of the 13/14 season for the rockets. I just wish our players could start their training together soon .... Darn rules... This season is very exciting for me, the main reason being a chance for the rockets to take the div title .... What are the rest of you doing in preparation for the coming season? I can only countdown the days and hope that the squad will gel together in time for the fireworks.... Go Rockets!!!

Can't wait for the new season to start. Texans...Astros??? Bah, neither of these teams will win anything in my lifetime. I want Rockets basketball again!!! I don't even care that Clyde is a horrible announcer, I love him to death right now. GO ROCKETS!!!!
The Texans are on the verge of doing great things this year. We have a strong chance of winning the SB.
I am looking forward to this amazing season to start. I plan on going to at least 15 games this season.
It's 55 more days and counting (down that is... ;-) ) For those interested in Numerology - apparently I did a quick calculation using the days of our matches against that of our opponents - the bad news seems that Rockets would only chalk up about 43 Wins in total (still should be good enought to make playoffs but not enough for the Div title). Good news though under Numerology, we should do 4-0 against Lakers and 2-0 against the Heat. Within the Division we are likely to be 3-1 against the Spurs, 3-1 against the Mavs, 2-2 against the Pelicans but get owned by Grizzlies 0-4. Not going to post the predictions here since I think there is a prediction thread somewhere will probably post the predicted W/L in that other thread.... but take all these with some grains of salt.....
That's what we all said last year. When we can beat a team with an elite QB convincingly, then I'll buy into the hype.
That would be quite the twist ending if the Rockets managed to actually win less games than last year. Won't happen unless Harden/Howard/Parsons are injured.
