Assume the 6 man rotation actually escapes game 5 with a victory and the Spurs give up without Kashi in game 6. Could we win a damn game against GSW?
Not without Nene, no. With, we might get one. It's the only thing that allowed me to take these whole playoffs (and specifically out showing in it) with a massive grain of salt. What. Is. The. Point?
OK, then I'll go with the fictional team that sweeps GSW in three games. Game 4 forfeited due to basketball reasons. In all seriousness, they might've gotten one.
If we played like the bull sh*t last game, no. If we played like we did during the regular season, absolutely.
I think we could have pulled out 1 game due to a hot 3 point shooting day (20+). We have shown to not only win those games but kill the other team badly. Unfortunately, I think the Nene injury may have dampened that anyhow. No excuse, but could be the reason why Harden didn't have it in him to finish because he knew Nene was the key to beating a team like SA or GS. Either way, SA got 4 more games (all loses). Houston in the playoffs (6-5), SA (8-8). Boston will be (9-9) after they lose their next two games to Cleveland. With that in mind we were actually the 3rd best in the NBA playoffs percentage wise. Washington was (7-6)
How the f can the answer to this be yes? THey couldn't get past a Kawhi less team. By couldn't get past I mean got blown out.
The NBA is going to get what it has hyped all season long. A dual rematch (CLEV vs GS) (LeBron vs KD)
We don't even get the privilege to suppose. We forfeited that privilege in Game 6 2nd round. I say "we" I mean James Harden.
