Yeah, they were pretty pissed Boozer picked up his option. If Utah can trade Boozer for a bag of chips, they'd have done it yesterday.
Concur. With Boozer gone by year's end, they are under or close to being under the luxury tax line. Millsap and Boozer are redundant, and Millsap is younger (the Leebigez "age trumps equal talent" rule).
He can pass, he can shoot, and he can be a go-to-guy down the stretch. I don't see how he wouldn't fit in.
At the end of the year New Orleans is gets rid of two huge contracts -- one for a player they don't need and one for a star they can't afford. It happens. Look no further than Pau Gasol.
um, my professional opinion of this is that we should not trade t-mac. As you guys can see, as a formal GM, i would not trade t-mac cuz he was the formal 2 times nba scoring champ with lots of potential and heart. he is now even more determined and motivated coming back from an injury. he is like jesus chirst reborn from hell. I say we keep him and give him a contract extension. ZZ
It would be sadly ironic if McGrady's time with the Rockets ended with a trade involving the Utah Jazz.
I wouldnt say we are the biggest player in the trade market. Every deal done in the NBA doesnt hindge on us. If you read what Worzel posted, it most likely, isnt with us. I know the anticipation of a deal gets me excited to, but Im not sure if we are linked to this on any level, or at least no indication was given in the article. TJ Ford is rumored to be on the block. Do I need to post that in the GARM too, since we are "the biggest player in the trade market"???
First, T[Mc's $23M contract alone automatically makes us the biggest player. We have beaten the Philadelphia, Washington and Golden State trade scenarios to death, and we know Morey has a tendency to surprise us with deals. Ergo, this "multiple teams" reference could be "something." Most speculation is "nothing," but it's fun to look for Rocket trade clues.
