Could the Rockets be getting a new court design? Pic inside...

We wizards and pacers had the worst court design

 

Or maybe as with the black alternates, the court design is for next year which will also include changing all the shades of red on the rest of our uniforms. I doubt a rebrand comes, but with this being the last season for Adidas b4 Nike takes over in 2017, it could very well be possible the Rockets have already been working on and trying new things for use after this season.

 

I like it, the paint is actually painted.

I doubt it'll change. Even though they're long overdue for a new court design. The current one is way too bland and boring.

 

Please add Tal's Hill. And a pole.

 

Idk why we kept the bland crap. Wizards got same thing its bland, pacers too its bland. The games seem much more boring like that. Look at American airlines in dallas the blue paint makes the game alot more fun.

 

There's actually no Houston Rockets logo inside the arc so I don't think there's a new court coming.

It's more wearable than what they have now...maybe Les is finally getting it..

 

Whatever happened to the HR logo? Have never really used it much.

 

It's obvious this is the new court given their history of practice/game courts at TC.

What may be happening is modifications to the brand, but not a complete rebrand. Considering they've used the same elements of alternate black template on other unis (collar, side panels) it seems possible this is a template for future home & roads sets. Also with the new court, note the complete reduction of silver/gray and the slight addition of black (never has been present of previous courts under this brand).

Id guess the Rockets will make some adjustments to the brand, keeping the same logo & wordmark but with colors as red, white, & black and new unis under matching the template used for the black set.

 

Well...whatever they choose to do, i'm 100% convinced we will never see yellow/gold as part of our primary color set under Les's ownership. It will never feel like the real Houston Rockets to me. He won't even put Houston across our chest for our road uniforms, only the discarded red and yellow alternates and now the black alternates(probably won't last long either) show Houston on the chest. Face it. Were the Rockets. That's our brand under Les. We seized being the HOUSTON Rockets 20 years ago.
