Evidently not at practice. What is he, one of those guys who's mediocre at practice and in their sparse game minutes, but who becomes brilliant the moment you give him a starting spot? I love those guys!

    Man,

That would be very small of JVG to hold that against Billy, it was a great pass, and it got a layup and a foul.

Heck, it was better than all those tipped passes that Tmac and Rafer were throwing out there.

Sometimes a little slight of hand is better than the telegraphed passes that the Rockets do 90% of the time.

    all I'm saying is

    root for the guy

The last regular season game, V-Span did the same thing he did tonight. He took the ball to the rim and got fouled left and right. He had 12 FT that night. I don’t think this is a coincident. May be he just match up better when play the Jazz. Head and Lucas combined with 4 TO s, no assist, and only 8 points tonight. I'd rather give the minutes to V-Span.

are you that stupid mogrod? VSpan hasn't been playing with the squard for the entire regular season, there is no any chemistry or any game plan for him. If we want, we can develop all these in next season, but not in playoff.

I don't see how that could hurt, consider how head and juwan have played

I'd like to see this lineup get a little run:

    Span/Alston
    Tracy
    Snyder
    Shane
    Yao

I mean, why does JVG think that only Hayes can guard Okur? Okur isn't physical, doesn't post up, and Shane is actually TALLER than Chuck!

I guess that would just be too many offensive options for JVG to deal with.

(btw, I realize we tried this lineup the 1st game of the season, but we had Shane on Boozer then)

When you see the body of Deron and Fisher, you know there is absolutely no chance Luther/Lucas can defend them.

When those two cant contribute anything on the offense end, they are useless.

Then why cant give V-Span a chance to defend Deron/Fisher?

Regular season experiences dont transfer well for every player. See Luther and Juwon. Some players are known for disappearing in the playoffs.

The truth is Jazz has to send their quickest player to guard Tmac and Deron Williams can't play all 48 mins!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I just mentined that. He should post something if he thinks its such a bad idea. It couldnt hurt to play him because they are already playing like Crap. Span could mix it up a little bit. HEY MATT POST SOMETHING on this thread!

Guys, don't kid yourselves. Span will give you 10 TOs a game, and half of the time, he will lose the ball before reach the front court. He is not NBA ready, and JVG wants to win NOW.

We lost because we didn't have a good game plan to deal with the Jazz's physical play. It starts with JVG, Tmac, and Yao. Don't blame the role players, because they are not signed to make the plays, or save the games. It's the coach to put a system to utilize the strength of all the players, and the star players to make the plays.

    I like those guys

but if he started to make fun again, then he's an idiot!

there is no way to play SPanoulis now, play him and expect what?

If I was him, I would patienly wait until the end of the season, talk with the management on move on....
