    And Rafer has?

    The hypocrisy is mind numbing.

Nah, he has 2 more years on his contract, the Rockets are willing to wait it out.

Yes he has. We would have won less if any of the other PG's on the roster were starting or had Rafer's minutes.

A complete and utter guess on your part, what if Tmac was starting at the PG position?

Rafer can dribble and protect the ball pretty well, he is a very valuable backup.

A complete and utter guess by pretty much everyone else as well. I'm pretty sure the coaches know something, Mattj knows something, Houston Chronicle know something since they all basically laughed at the idea that if V-Span played we wouldn't have lost any games. We have experimented T-Mac at the PG position early on, and well, it didn't work.

Tmac plays the PG position late in every game, and essentially plays it during most of the regular game too.

Rafer brings it up and passes it to Tmac to initiate the offense....that is what the PG does.

I am not saying play V-Span, it is too late for that....but please cut Rafer's minutes down....

I would rather Head be shooting those open 3 pt shots than Rafer.

Yeah, we quit experimenting and just made him the point guard. Now we are stuck with our best player essentially using his second best skill primarily for 40 minutes per game.

And we are stuck with a 6'2" shooting guard that can't shoot worth a lick.

Hey Mcgrady why dont you shut up and get out of the first round before you talk about how good rafer is, lets see you get out of the first round with rafer as your pg!

Ah, the thread that won't die. :)

I'll always believe that giving V-Span playing time throughout the season would have made us a better team.

JVG's predilection toward JLIII is a little mind-numbing given that his defense is non-existant but V-Span won't play for JVG until his game is lobotomized and I don't think I can stand another 5 years of JVG pgs. Really sickening.

If V-mac is on the court tonight, it only means Rox is done. :( I doubt I'll see him if we crush the Jazz. Even with 50 points lead, Rox will keep their starters there.

Good call. V-Span should have been developed more. His style of play is suited when Yao is resting on the bench.
