I agree with DaDakota. I think JVG has implemented enough defensive mentality to the star players and as much of the fundamentals that can be thrown in has been thrown in. I believe it is now time to get a coach that can take our players to the next level like phil jackson. I also don't think CD would mind having Phil Jackson on his side at playing GM. If I'm not mistaken, I think for many years Rudy T has helped CD in that area as well. I didn't like JVG's comments when it came to draft time as it seemed to not take any part of the players movements. I think CD was also more involved in the Steve francis trade to get Tmac than JVG. Cd saw the clash and pulled the trigger as fast as he could. If we get a chance to get PJ....... LES PULL THE TRIGGER and do it!

I cannot stand PJ. I'd rather have Rudy back - but I think I would rather have JVG than PJ.

I don't think personal dislike of Phil Jackson is important. Unless you hate him the way you hate Pippen, Malone, or Stockton. He is a big-time winner, and that's as important as the technical stuff. He's always gotten good people to help him with the technical details, and he understands people, which is critical.

I'm not a huge fan of him, but he's a great coach. Maybe not the best of all-time, but a winner. If he can take us to the next level, I'm all for it. Does Les have a single or unhappily married daughter?

As much as I hate Phil Jackass and his phony Zen sideshow, I still wouldn't mind him coaching the Rockets.
