Could Kobe take this same team to the Finals?

T-Mac lacks Kobe's ferociousness and heart. There's no question. If T-Mac showed those qualities for just a full quarter during one of our losses in this series, we would've won the series by now. T-Mac lacks the killer instinct that Kobe and MJ have. Kobe wouldn't pull up for a jumpshot at a critical time in the game and brick it . . . twice.

However, Kobe would've stunted Yao's development, and would probably have trouble with JVG.

As someone mentioned earlier, all the talk about Kobe being the best all time, Shaq being the most dominant center is BS. However, it's also complete BS to say that Kobe would not pass to Yao. He would give Yao shots. Kobe isn't stupid. He knows how to win games, and he knows that he can't do everything all the time for his team. That's assuming he was just trying to win. If he gets caught up in his own ego and his own challenges/accomplishments, things could go downhill very fast.

Simply put, if we had Kobe instead of T-Mac in this series, we probably would've won by now. However, without T-Mac during the season we wouldn't have as good a team as we do now.

did u watch the suns series? kobe is basically more of a jumpshooter like tmac, except kobe is shooting better than tmac.

both drive basically the same now if u watch the games. so in those situations, i would foresee kobe jacking up jumpers too. but more likely kobe would make 1 of the 2.

I don't think I criticized T-Mac for taking that jump-shot. I'm criticizing him for not making the jump shot. If it was Kobe, he would've made that shot because he rises to the occasion much more than McGrady. In a close game with only a few minutes left, Kobe has the killer instinct to nail a three when needed. T-Mac has shown flashes of this in the past, but nothing more than that.

I like this one. Champions are made when going through the tuff times only to emerge and prove everyone wrong.

There were some, many really who thought Dream would never take us there. Most of you were not around or Rox fans back then. All most all of the "Experts" thought we wouldn't win it all let alone back to back.

You don't become a CHAMPION before becoming a CHAMPION...
