Make it Scola instead of Landry and give us Budinger back (or Philly sends us Speights) and we have a deal.
Fixed... our Line up would be sick..... 2010/11 line-up Lowry(6'1)/Holiday(6'4) Iguodala(6'7)/Taylor(6'4), *Wafer(6'5)or*McCants (6'4) Ariza(6'8)/Budinger(6'7) Bosh(6'11)/Landry(6'9), Hayes(6'6) Yao(7'6)/Andersen(6'11),O'Bryant(7'0) Draft, DeMarcus Cousins(6'11)(if his available), we could play him as a back up C or PF... --RB
Do you think DM would let Aaron go? I think he's truly found a jewel in the rough. There aren't many guys with AB's speed and ability to get into the lane with ease at any time. This is what happens when you get too attached to the current team. The only players that I wouldn't mind trading are JT, Andersen and Brian Cook. Then again, I was pissed when Cat and Stevie were traded for Tracy.
what if we also threw in draft picks? Landry + Ariza + Dorsey + Cook for Bosh (+ filler) & McGrady + AB + DA + 2011 1st Rounder for CP3 + Peja (+ filler Diogu) Final team :: Yao / Chuck Bosh / Scola / Diogu Battier / Taylor Peja / Budinger CP3 / Lowry
NO won't trade CP3 for that package. Either they dump all of their bad contracts with him WHILE getting young talents/picks back, or they're not trading him at all.
Suppose you could land Iggy and Bosh without losing Landry/Brooks, but it meant taking on Brand....would you do it?
Looks somewhat interesting on paper. Iggy can run with our guys, but he can't shoot well. We would get stuck with his contract and of course Brand's as well without being able to get to a championship.
T-Mac's biggest value to any trading partner isn't his play, it's his expiring contract. He could stay in Chicago and do whatever and both sides would be happy. And there's nothing stopping Toronto from turning around and shipping him somewhere else.
Arenas is probably out for the year... and since he's being suspended by the league and the team, if i read this correctly, Washington can VOID his contract making Arenas a FA next year. He's more than likely suspended for the rest of the year. I wouldnt mind him for 2 year $16.5 mil, 2nd year TEAM Option. If he gets hurt again, dont pick up the option.. You'd be paying a little over 7mil the 1st year for someone who would be a good option to run point, can score and dish, and let AB run the #2 spot.
hmmm...that's a VERY interesting trade! But i dont know if we'd wanna take on knucklehead like Delone West. Tried the trade in the Trade Machine and it works.
We all know that it's not his play, but his contract. Nothing new there. Just, Toronto probably has no interest in TMAC still. Just like the Rockets don't want Mike James back in Houston. Even though his contract is expiring.
If all they want is the contract they can leave him on the bench. There's no requirement that they have to play him after they acquire him. And Toronto would always have the option of shipping him somewhere else in a three way.
It's more of dealing with the attitude. They won't leave him on the bench, or McGrady will raise hell with them. Toronto doesn't want to deal with that all over again. Just like Houston won't accept Mike James back in a Washington trade. And shipping him elsewhere in a three-way trade? Why don't the Rockets just ship him off then? Something like: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yjkskex
You'd basically have to give up Landry and Brooks just to take on those three, because it would be kind of difficult to make all teams accept
