DoD-Also note that Camby and Knicks management (and fans who loved Oakley) aren't getting along great.

    Shandon is underrated.

Daro - 1) How much are you expecting Hakeem to play for? Even in his current state, he will play for no less than $8-10 mil, and probably ask for more 2) Mo will not settle for the minimum; his agent is Feagan, so he goes Max (even tho he hasn't earned it yet); 3) Shandon DESERVES the max after getting stiffed for two years (playing under, and jetting him before Bird rights would be a major insult)...

Those 2 players will cancel out most of the "Hakeem Savings" for the most part. Perhaps we can land a beefy but slow free agent... We won't have anything available for the likes of CWebb unless we allow all (Mo, SA, HO) of their contracts to expire. And we'll be a SF short even if we did...

Are you in the market for Bryant Reeves?

    Stick to the plan.

I already posted this idea earleir, but hey, I still thinks this works the best. Gee, Chris Weinke just won the Heisman.

NY gets: Dream, CWebb, Nick Anderson
    Atl gets: Camby, Cato, Childs
    Sac gets: Houston, Mo, Longley
    Rocks get: Rice, Mutumbo

Now, throw in some draft picks and I'll say that it's the fairest trade out there, and it works. I wouldn't do it though cause I want Dream to stay.

Man where can I get some of what you are smoking...that must be some good stuff. No way Sac trades Webber. Even if they decide they can not resign him they beleive that they have a shot at the finals. Please tell me again why Sac would want Houston, Mo and Longley. Your trade may work as far as salary cap but at least make the trade beleivable. No one trades to get worse unless you are a major league baseball franchise.

Thats the BIG ?.How much will Dream play for ? I would hope he would play for a lot less than you predict. That's something I dont know.

As far as Anderson he hasn't lived up to his end of the bargain.I like Shandon and his defence and would like him to stay but to say anything less than the max would be an insult..well I just don't agree.

As far as Taylor asking for the max...hahaha

I love that trade but there is no way the warriors give up antawn and larry hughes for mo, shandon, hakeem and a 1st. Maybe several firsts. I just don't see it happening. Antawn is an all star caliber player that just keeps getting better. We would not be offering anything close to that.

If Hakeem leaves, the Rockets are screwed. He is the only proven winner on the team and the other player need to respect that! Somewhere in the basketball timeline, true basketball has disappeared! Isolation plays do not win championships, only team play wins them.

After tonight, I say we sign Dream for 10 more years at say 6-8 million a year. It's not like he really needs the money & this is the first time in his career to play with a point guard of Stevie's caliber. So, why wouldn't he want to stay? Is it me or do the Rockets seem to be including Dream in the offense a little bit more? I think the youngsters are starting to realize that Dream really does know how to pass the ball back out. If the team plays like this for about 4-5 straight games, I believe that they will really start to believe in this offensive scheme. [IMG]

The Rockets PLAY of the mid 90's (Dream isolated on the left block) wasn't considered an isolation play? That is news to me.

If Rik Smits signs look for the talks to heat up again with the Pacers. It doesn't mean that Hakeem wants out, but the cigarettes will be lit. Oneal isn't part of this process, but strangely enough, was 1/3 the catalyst for it.

    treeman, his agent is falk.

our game in the 94-95 season was based on hakeem iso's then he was double teamed and the ball was kicked out to horry, elie, smith or passed to a slashing or stationary(right next to the basket) otis thorpe.

A hakeem osolation is alot different than a maobley or francis iso. You can't compare Hakeem in the championship years to mobley nad francis ever.
