hmm you need to read up on your history a bit. Jackie Chan is a entertainer/performer/stunt man. Bruce Lee grew up as a punk involved in gangs and street fighting. He was not always a pleasant person and had a pretty shady past. Read his wikipedia page you might find it interesting. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Lee Here are some highlights
Don't feed the troll. He has some personal vendetta against east Asians. I think one banged his girlfriend and went to a real school while wearing expensive hair wax instead of "going" to DeVry wearing used hair gel.
Yeah, I think this troll who called himself "GlenRice". This idiot is just here to flood the forum with his r****ded one liners in order to instigate the other members. And he is shameless enough to use the name of a great basketball player to do his trollish acts here. What a disgrace.
Yeah, I think so. For all of you who believe he'd just be destroyed by grappling, Bruce, himself, always said he was a student-master, always learning. "Be like water."
I think the Jackie Chan analogy is a good one. Both are actors who appear in popular martial arts films. Neither of them have ever competed in a contest. I’m surprised at how many people think that he would actually win in a MMA tournament. Considering he never won a martial arts tournament, let alone competed in one, makes me seriously doubt if he could handle himself in a regional tournament let alone a national tournament. Its not like he is Chuck Norris, who actually won a World Karate championship. Just picture someone who played a basketball player on TV, but never played in college or high school. Do you really think that person is going to compete with the pros.
Who knows? There were tournaments out there at the time, but he never competed in them. I am pretty sure gsp or silva could beat up random people too.
His innovations are the basis for alot of the martial arts moves of today. Innovators >>> followers Rocket River
It's like saying Wilt Chamberlain would have trouble with Andrew Bynum. Genius is genius. If Lee trained for an MMA bout I don't think there's any doubt he'd excel.
LOLOL, MMA don't know about being Water! Funny that you discredit Bruce Lee but think winning a martial arts tournament qualifies you for MMA.
Bruce Lee had made public demonstrations of his combat skills and he was also a kung fu teacher who ran martial art schools. Jackie Chan is an exceptional stuntman who happens to have the charm to play leading role in a movie. And anyone who is not blind can tell the difference in the way they fight. To compare him with Bruce Lee is plain idiotic.
