Cougar Basketball

I have a Bachelor of Science degree from UH and a Master of Arts degree from TCU. Doctorate in Florida. Still a Cougar thru and thru. That "Kitten Kick Off" made a huge impression. Hard to get excited about a "frog' mascot, although I loved attending TCU. I was on a full scholarship, and I am still thankful. There was nothing quite like the Oilers' games; sort of like a college atmosphere. Still think Earl was the best of all time.

His legs just couldn't hold up because he took so much punishment but he dealt it out too.

 

I'm sure you remember the Bum Phillips response when asked if Earl was the best running back of all time

 

It was something to the effect, "he may not be in class by himself, but it doesn't take long to check roll."

 

He never lost his linebacker mentality which is the position he played prior to RB.

 

Tomorrow night is another win-or-go-home. UH will already be at home, but they don't want to stay there.
