This was a great win when you consider it was 4 vs 6 (Sharp was so bad, he might as well have been in a black jersey). Flemings is such a great player. Crazy he’s a freshman.
The Coogs seem to find a way. So glad they started the conference games with a W. Hope every one is not as hard as this one. Fleming is something. The other freshman "phenom," isn't. So far, we are not getting our "money's worth." Well, he did get 8 rebounds.
Lets not talk about that game. Instead let us take a moment to acknowledge how lucky we are to have a Kingston Flemings. That's a lottery pick right there.
With Sharp playing with one hand behind his back, unfortunately his shooting hand, going 0 for 9 from the field, we beat a tougher than expected Cincinnati team. Have to admit there were times I thought we were going to lose this one. Great second half by Uzan nailing all those 3's. Not much more I can add about Kingston Flemings he is incredible. I thought Jojo played a great game. I kept waiting for that 4th foul to come that thankfully never came. Valuable minutes from Sahko 3-3 FG coming off injury. Thought RWJ looked good as our this year's Malik Wilson. He always seems to make some great plays and has a nose for the ball. That charge he took was a key moment in the game. This was an ugly win but I will take it.
What's the general consensus been on Harwell and Cenac? Disappointing or "ok, but not great"? I honestly thought they'd be more impactful than Flemings for the Coogs. lol.
They're all pro teams now. The extent of which is kind of numbing. Tough game tonight... I figure us to be a machine by season's end. But, for now....like a box of chocolates.
