Games like this are why I struggle to get into the college game. Something about the officiating in college just gets under my skin.
Kelvin, please stop drawing up plays for sharp to dribble the sooner he realizes flemings and uzan are the only ball handler the better.
Ridiculously biased officiating that should be investigated, but that aside, they really have to figure out how to finish off games on the offensive side. Shead isn’t walking through that door. Someone has to step up and lead. Hopefully, it’s Flemings as he improves throughout the season.
The main thing is just getting the news guys into the system. What Ja'vier Francis gave us from the bench is going to be hard to replace since he had 4 years to get the defensive rotations down. Sakho is a work in progress but a lot of upside with his athleticism.
All 3 freshmen and Sakho just got their first taste of big-time college hoops. Learn from it. Onward and upward!
We went into a hostile environment with Tugler at less than 100%, and got the W. This is invaluable experience for our youngins...which should pay off later. Flemings and Cenac are going to end up as pretty high lottery picks. Some of the worst (one sided) officiating I've seen at the college level. (and that's saying a lot)
