I agree with Aware most people will tell you UH's Kingston Flemings or Shelton Henderson would be near the top of the list, but it's also not like it used to be back in the day. Like Cenac actually went to high school in Louisiana before his final year when he transferred to basketball power Link Academy in Missouri. Tre Johnson was Mr. Basketball in Texas before he transferred to Link Academy. A lot of players transfer to these prep schools and other basketball powerhouses like IMG, La Lumiere, Prolific Prep, etc. for the exposure, training, etc. so they may be from a particular state, but in their final year they move to some other state to go to a prep school.

Or if you're really good, you can skip College and go right in to the pros like Moses Malone.

He is unknown by many now, but he was perhaps the greatest center ever to play for a Houston team and we've had several GREAT ones.

C'mon now, Marshall. I loved Fo Fo Fo...crushed me when we moved him..he IS underrated big time...and, he mentored The Man...

But, Dream had it ALL...on both sides of the ball. To my way of thinking, he's a top 5 player, with a solid argument for higher.
Moses is at best 7 - 10...more likely in that 10-15 range.

I saw both. It's hard to compare when Akeem always had top notch team mates and Moses pretty much carried the team on his shoulders. But Akeem is why I said perhaps.

Years ago I set a project to try all the bbq joints in town. I set two rules. Try each place more than once. And don’t rank them, just enjoy the food. I told myself it’s not like I go to a concert and say ‘great show, but not as good as Stones in 78’.

I saw Moses for several years and Akeem’s entire college career and later as a Rocket season ticket holder. I saw some great bball and really enjoyed myself.

Just read the Madison Square Garden game will be against the Razorbacks. Date and time TBD. I hope the date is good for me, I'd like to see a game in MSG once so why not the Coogs.

Well nevermind they are playing at Barclays not MSG.
