Thing is, I'm far more passionate about the Rockets than any other local team. I'm dating myself with this: The strike in 1994 that wiped out the playoffs blunted my MLB fandom permanently. (An injured Jeff Bagwell won MVP that year because the season was shortened).
I just don't understand why Sharpe didn't let that one fly, he had a good look. He also had time to pump fake just like on his Duke shot. He panicked. Awful way to lose. Absolutely devastating.
I used to be but the league has been completely ruined for a long time. It’s not the basketball I grew up watching. It’s basically WWE now. Still love the rockets and this current team is fun as hell. But personally feel like we’re playing with house money.
I'm not even tripping about the refs. They were fine. We just werent as good as Florida when it mattered. its a bitter pill to swallow but i'll swallow it whole. ill deep throat that b****. its the life a chose to live when i enrolled at this school. In good times and bad im backing them. This all just builds character. We'll all be better men by tomorrow.
Bruh… I’m so confused? Why didn’t Sharp pump fake then shoot the 3 or just go for the 2? I’m still in wtf mode right now! If you’re Sharp and you had your mind set on that 3, then you take that ball back and shoot it until the refs call something Steph Curry style. Or you ****ing pump fake and then shoot the 3 after losing your defender. What the **** was Sharp thinking? Clearly wasn’t thinking Sharp tonight.
Downtown Freddie Brown throwing the ball to the wrong team to end the game. Georgetown vs North Carolina. 1982
my only complaint from refs is the missed goaltend. why can't they just call it and review later? is that not allowed in college basketball?
