True test coming up. We'll see what we are and what we are not.

Clearly a mismatch, BUT the Coogs appear loaded with talent. Seem to have it all: size, shooting, defense, rebounding, the whole enchilada!

I think UH basketball is big enough now that they don’t have to agree with programs like Auburn to play off campus. ALL home games should be at the FC.

UH is a top 10 team yearly, and they go deep in the tourney every year. UH should be in full control of where our home games are played. I find it disrespectful that other schools want to ignore a fantastic new Arena on campus, and play in a NBA arena instead. It’s not like Auburn fans need more seats.

If you want to play at Duke, you are gonna play in their tiny little **** house. UH has a beautiful 10,000 seat arena on campus. No need to go to the Toyota center for Auburn.

    Huh?

They've each played all of 1 game against nobody and beat the crap out of them. UH is #1 and Auburn is #2 in the Kenpom ratings.

Agreed, but wasn't this UH's call?

eta: They're playing in Birmingham, not Auburn, next year.

My understanding is that it was Auburn’s request. Sampson not happy about it either.

I think you misunderstood my post. I was talking about the "nobody" team that UH beat by a large margin, not Auburn.

    Gotcha, my bad.

Yeah, that sucks. Hopefully they sell the place out and pocket some extra money for their NIL pool.

Fertitta center capacity currently at 7100. UH vs Auburn is going to be a great game. Nice to see UH tested early.

Agree. But I am sure they have their reasons.

Still going to be a great match up between the #1 and #2 kenpom team in the country (kenpom.com).

Not going to be an easy. Houston favored by 5 but Auburn is a better team than they were last year.

Wasn't a fight, just 2 players bumping chests and mouthing off, but regardless I am absolutely shocked that this would occur on a Bruce Pearl coached team.
