surprise surprise. Forever a Coog. It's going to be incredibly difficult to think anyone will be my favorite pg at UH over Shead for a very long time. From a barely recruited freshman to a 1st team All American and DPOY senior. Quite the journey and progression
Congrats to Shead. Wish him the best. Not a surprise but now we should get some clarity rather quickly as to who our new floor genera is going to be. My guess is Milos Uzan. Not a home run on the surface but if you dig a little deeper he has a lot of good things going for him.
I think LJ could become a legit PG given the time. Mylik not so much, and definitely not Sharp. That being said, regardless of what happens LJ should be given more time handling the ball going forward. We can't put all our chips on one dude's ankle.
LJ isn't a pg by any means. That's something he wants to improve on though to be a combo guard like Sasser. Last year it was his defense which he made big strides in. He'll have more opportunities to be a play maker next year but someone else coming in will be the actual pg.
See post #9540. I think this is where we are heading. I would like to see LJ work at being a more reliable back up PG.
Seem like that would be a major step back in the point guard search but if coach has this cat in his sites then I'll trust. But like coach said lots of people attach their name to UH but he has had zero interest in the player.
Javier/Wann are already the starters. Tugler is the 1st big off the bench next year and future starting C in 2025. Lath/McFarland are being developed for 2025 and beyond. 0 room for a big
more like a bunch of guys with a wingspan of no less than 7'6. like KS said nobody blocks shots with their head
Javier and Jwan both played very admirably in that role. Especially Javier. Don't understand you ******** on them.
Size matters, did you not watch the F4? Shooting matters too, I'm all for UH doing that as well. And I'm not ******** on anybody. All I said was that there's a bunch of large humans in the transfer portal, and it would be nice if UH got one.
Did size matter when Edey got bounced 2 years ago as a #1 seed in one of the largest upsets in the history of sports? size matters is relative What really matters is what works in that given time and year. height isn't what just wins. what happened to all the other big teams like creighton, wisconsin, illinois, auburn, Tennessee, arizona
It's better to have it when you need it opposed to needing it when you don't have it. The option. That's all I'm saying.
