Don’t know enough about the other teams to know if it’s a good bracket or not, this guy (Fox Sports college basketball analyst) thinks it is…
We got the bracket we wanted. Don't see anyone in our bracket that I am particularly worried about. Maybe Texas A&M. They closed out pretty hard against us when we played them earlier this year. But over all we are in a good spot for a deep run First game Friday. Maybe by then Jwan's hand and leg will be better. We are not going anywhere if Jwan is not somewhere close to 90%. Next to Shead he is our most important player. If we don't have a scoring presence on the inside the better teams can but more pressure on our guards not allowing the easier looks we need for Sharp, Cryer, and others to give us the contributions we need. Can't wait. Regardless of what happens it's been agreat season.
A&M stinks. Surprised they even made the tourney. Definitely over seeded. Neither pose a real threat in the 2nd round Illinois has the toughness and style of play to definitely take out Iowa st. They have the best player in that potential matchup
Strongly disagree. East and West are more difficult. Midwest is an absolute mess. Chaos is going to reign supreme when the games start in the Midwest.
playing in memphis again is kinda neat, i guess. every tiger fan can live vicariously through us. yay for them.
So yall help me out here. All of this is obviously contingent on beating Longwood/A&M/Braska so bear with me. I've got my hotel and flight for Dallas booked, but I've been informed by the school that my chances of getting tickets from UH directly are slim. Supposedly the Big 12 only allots 350 seats per team. Given that, I'll have to buy on the secondary market, so some questions arise from that. The possible round of 16 opponents are Wisconsin, Jmu, Duke, and Vermont. Out of that group, only Duke strikes me as a team whom would push ticket prices up, right? If so, what chance do you give Duke of advancing? If you were me, would you buy tickets now or wait?
It's fine. If Houston is healthy, they will be in good shape. Don't fool yourself though. A&M will be a tough game.
Nebraska has never won a tournament game. Ever. So, I wouldn't be so sure about that... I do think Nebraska is a good team. It'll be a close game.
