Cyclones defense swarming well, but they're only winning by 1. Coogs just gotta make a few more 3's. Defense gonna do its thing regardless.
Iowa state won the first half, BUT the game is not over fans. Coogs have to prove they are champions. I believe. Francis, we need you to come up big. Guard the rim, no more lay ups.
Lath's shot at the rim hit the bottom of the rim with about 2 minutes left. Clumsy and unacceptable. Cyclones' defense is defense'ing. Coogs' FGA are mostly off-balance jumpers. Prob need more ball movement and getting the ball inside. Don't pass up any open 3's, even if only open by a hair. Shead needs a big 2nd half whether scoring or assisting. Still confident this game ends well, but I hope Iowa State isn't in our region.
Iowa State is definitely a team no one wants to play. And this is like a conference home game for them.
Only down 7. CKS needs to make some adjustments to get us some better shots. Give them credit. They are giving their home crowd something to cheer about. ISU is playing some great defense. We cannot continue to shoot this poorly. Find or create some open shots. This game is still very winnable.
If they shoot like that every game they’re the best team in the country. That’s nuts. also said this same thing about the Jayhawks when they played at home….see how that went.
