Sounds absurd - but this team may be the greatest defensive basketball team in at least 50 years. It isn't because they have Lew Alcindor or Bill Russell in the middle either - it is because every single player on the Houston roster is a MUTHA ****A.
TCU is a good team, and they are getting absolutely demolished. The Houston defense is just on another level.
They're killing them no question. Don't get me wrong I'm thrilled about how it's going but for some reason I'm not super impressed by the offense. Granted I'm working and watching it at the same time so my assessment might not be the best
The offense is what it is. It's not changing. This is how UH basketball wins ball games and when they more often than not dominate like this it's UH basketball at its finest. They're making a very good TCU team who is a tourney team look like a NIT team. the 3rd team that beat UH this year. The 3rd time in the rematch KS and co clearly learned from the loss and corrected their mistakes
I agree with you. Many of our games are fugly. Defense I would give a 10. Offense is doing a good enough job of not letting them cut into our lead. I don't think I have EVER seen us give up so many offensive rebounds. It's been an unusual game. But a thing of beauty at the same time.
The offensive rebounds are what stood out the most. I'm sure they'll hear about it in the film room. Like you said though they haven't cut into the lead.

Baylor has a HUGE game against Cincy tonight…Cincy has something to prove. After that it’s probably Iowa State…Baylor wouldn’t meet UH until the final game. My god the Big 12 is a nightmare lol
