Another game where we were outrebounded and played like we were trying to hold on to a lead and get out of the building with a win. Good problem to have I guess. Wish when we had big leads on several occasions we could have played with more urgency and put them away. Glad we won the game but we can play better.
Fun physical night. Would have been a blow out if Shead could have got it going shooting wise. He was a master at controlling the game again. I felt like last seasons was our best chance to win it all. Maybe they go on run like never before this season. Either way I'm very pleased with the 1st year in the Big 12.
It was until sasser got hurt at the end of the year. Then he limped all through the tourney. It was a whole lot of pain killers and stress just to get on the floor when he could. He really had no business playing. A healthy sasser on last years team makes it to the end with a chance to win it. As long as UH has a healthy cryer/shead they have a shot To go super deep this year.
Nope. Not when UH lost 2 guys they play off their bench. They cannot afford to lose anymore rotational players. And UH can clinch the B12 before the last game vs Kansas at home if a few scenarios play out . So that game can be meaningless
