Sampson is the best basketball coach I’ve ever seen at getting a team to go full throttle on defense. Just the constant energy, in general. Relentless. Would he have even been on the radar for UH (and vice versa) if McHale hadn’t hired him as an assistant coach for the Rockets? McHale should get a ring if Houston wins a national championship.

They are absolutely relentless. I don't know if I've ever seen a program that plays balls to the wall non-stop like Sampson gets those guys to play. Nolan Richardson at Arkansas is the only other team that comes to mind.
Same. I'm probably going to take Iowa State and the points even though I half expect Houston to dismantle them at home. That's a big number for a good team in what could be a relatively low scoring game.
I saw Queen is saying he is close to deciding. He wants to see how teams play thru their 4s and 5s. Sounds like he wants to be a focus on offense.
Good luck. It’s a big number for a reason and I believe UH does make a statement revenge game. If it was smaller I’d lean towards a closer game im expecting the same focus they showed sat vs UT. As bad as UH played at Iowa they came all the way back and took the lead only to lose by a tough well contested shot on the baseline corner. The home stretch of Feb and March is when KS likes his teams playing their best. Go Coogs!
